I know what it takes to opt into change.

I've been where you are, wanting something different but not sure what. (We don't have to be totally lost to want change!)
On Thanksgiving 2020, eating chicken tikka with my husband in our Chicago condo without the usual holiday bustle, I heard myself clearly for the first time in years. I recognized something I wasn’t willing to accept anymore: My corporate job was taking up too much space in my life.

As a New Years Resolution in 2021, I invested in coaching – which initially felt extravagant but was ultimately the most valuable thing I've ever done.

The biggest breakthrough came when I chose to take a solo trip to Birmingham in spring 2023. I decided to be fully present and explore local museums, monuments, and hiking trails with fresh curiosity. On the flight home, I felt like myself – not Liz the professional, but Liz the whole person.

I wondered: Does anything exist to help women create experiences not to escape, but to give them sparks of inspiration as part of a coaching relationship?
I couldn't find anything like it, so I decided to create it myself.

After 15+ years advising c-suite leaders of major companies like McDonald's, Tyson Foods and the Kellogg Company, I took a leap. I got trained as a coach myself and launched On Leave Experience on Leap Day of 2024.

Choosing to work with a coach is empowering.
It’s you taking charge of what happens next. And what happens next doesn’t have to be a complete life overhaul. It can be your version of feeling like yourself in a new chapter.
Transitions don’t have to happen to you. You can decide to happen to them.

To grow, you need to talk to new people and show up in new places.
The most energizing experiences put you IN the world rather than taking you out of it.
