Speaking & Workshops

Some of the best conversations happen when someone from outside your usual orbit walks into the room.

Liz Coffey, head coach and founder of On Leave Experiences, spent 15 years working alongside C-suite leaders at major consumer brands and then the past couple of years years helping women figure out what they want and then go live it. She brings both of those worlds into every engagement, offering strategic clarity, plus warmth and energy.

She has spoken for employee resource groups, professional networks and women's communities across the country. Every session is designed to leave women with inspiration and something they can use — a reframe, a question, a permission slip.

Ways to Work Together

Workshop

Interactive and conversational, drawing from the greatest hits of On Leave Circles, Liz's small-group program now in its fourth season. Women leave with new language for who they are beyond the roles they play and what they want to feel, and a few concrete tools for getting there.

Topics include naming the roles we play, mapping our energy, and what it actually means to invest in ourselves.

Keynote

You're not stuck. You're shielded.

Gratitude. People-pleasing. Not wanting to disappoint anyone. Fear of what happens if you try. These aren't reasons to stay where you are. They're the stories we tell ourselves to avoid discomfort.

Liz's keynote gives women a framework for recognizing what's keeping them from an even better life and a roadmap for doing something about it. The talk draws on her framework built from working with women who have been checking all the boxes for years and are admirably feeling a pull to go beyond the boxes. It involves naming your shield, getting outside your echo chamber, and going "on leave" from your current context. She shares her own story of realizing her job title had become her whole identity and the deliberate steps she took to claim other parts of herself.

It's about taking a gentle on-ramp to your version of change and learning to tell the difference between gratitude and settling.

Fireside Chat or Panel

Prefer a purely conversational format?

Liz is interviewed by someone from your group or organization on topics you choose.

Some she loves: giving ourselves permission to invest in ourselves, the value of having a thought partner outside your usual circle, and making solo travel and new experiences accessible — even when life feels too full or the investment feels like too much.
